I've had several family members affected by cancer. My sister, Yvonne , was diagnosed with thyroid, lymph and lung at 13, and breast cancer at 19. Currently 50, she far outlived the six months she was given. In 1998, my best friend Denise 's mom Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was eye opening to me to see what a difference it made for Linda to become involved in such a phenomenal breast cancer support group. As Linda became closer to her Bunko Babes, I became part of the group, too. I officially became part of these strong women, we so lovingly refer to as the "Booby Girls".

I am 36 and I am a nanny. When I'm not working with children, I keep very busy with several groups: sign language, cooking, crafts, politics, movies, Scrabble and with the fun of working on 3-day stuff all year. I enjoy spending time with the other Titties and friends and love to travel.

I have been a part of Team Tough Titties for the past three years. My support of the 3-Day walk comes from my desire to support other women the way I saw Linda benefit from her support group. It has inspired me to want to do more to help others who are going through this difficult time in their life and do all that I can to fight this terrible disease.
